Common questions
What It Costs to Get It Sorted
What does the $65 off your first service cover?
It's $65 off the total cost of your first job with us, plumbing or gas work included. There's no separate list of what it does and doesn't apply to, and it combines with the $0 call-out fee as standard.
How does your upfront fixed pricing work?
A plumber inspects the actual fault first, then quotes one all-in price covering the whole repair. You see that price before you commit to anything, and once it's approved it stays put. There's no hourly rate ticking away while we work.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No, the call-out is $0 on every job, however big or small it turns out to be.
Does the price change once you start?
No. The fixed price you approve is exactly what lands on the invoice, even if the repair turns trickier than it first looked. If something unexpected changes the scope, we stop and talk it through with you first.
Common questions
Licensed, Insured and Done Properly
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, every plumber we send is a licensed plumber, and gas work is handled by licensed gas fitters. We're fully insured on every job.
Can you check my licence number?
Yes, it's #465156C. The NSW register at verify.licence.nsw.gov.au will confirm it's current whenever you want to check.
Are your plumbers qualified to work on gas?
Yes, our team holds gas fitting licences as well as plumbing ones, which covers hot water systems and gas leak work under the one visit rather than needing a second trade.
What is your lifetime labour warranty?
It means if our workmanship fails down the track, we come back and fix it at no cost. There's no time limit attached to that promise.
Common questions
Response, Timing and Booking
How fast can you get here?
Same-day is realistic for most Berala callouts. Call and we'll give you an honest picture based on what's already on the schedule.
How do I book?
Ring (02) 9073 7962 to speak with someone now, or leave your details on the contact page and we'll get back to you at a time that works.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?
The classic signs are a burst pipe, sewage backing up, no hot water, or a gas smell. Summer storms in the Duck River catchment can add stormwater overflow to that list as well.
What happens after I call?
A plumber gets dispatched as soon as we understand the problem, and the price is settled with you face to face before anything starts.
Common questions
The Berala Questions
What suburbs do you service around Berala?
Lidcombe, Auburn, Chester Hill, Sefton and Newington are all part of the same regular round from Berala.
Do you take on local new builds and renovation work?
Yes. With so much of Berala's stock dating to the post-war years, renovation plumbing is a regular part of the work alongside emergency callouts.
Do you cover the suburbs next to Berala?
Yes, every bordering suburb is part of our regular coverage, not just the home suburb itself.
Do you handle strata and units in Berala?
Yes. Around the railway station and the newer blocks nearby, strata and townhouse work comes up often enough that it's nothing out of the ordinary.
